Q: Do you have availability?
A: At any given time, new schedule slots are limited. I limit my student load to no more than 21 students so that I can individualize every lesson plan and give each student personalized attention.
Q: What are your rates?
A: I only accept students after they complete an introductory orientation session consisting of three one half hour lessons. This package is a great value at only $90. After completing the introductory package, many plans are available to suit any budget
Q: What are your hours?
A: Monday-Saturday, afternoons and evenings. Pick any available time slot that is good for you.
Q: Do you teach Jazz?
A: What I teach are the important fundementals that ANY saxophonist needs before he can specialize in a particluar style of music. I will teach tone production, rhythm, practice methods, vibrato, phrasing, altissimo, articulation, and technique.The direction you or your child takes after learning the basics is entirely up to you!!
Q: I live in (blank). Will you travel to me?
A. I prefer to teach at my studio but I live less than 30 minutes from anywhere in the greater Phoenix Area . If you're in Phoenix,Tempe, Mesa or Gilbert I'll travel to you for a $15.00 travel fee. If you live elsewhere in Maricopa County, you can come to my studio for lessons.

A: Selmer Series II alto saxophone, Larry Teal mouthpiece, Vandoren leather ligature with leather plate, Vandoren #3 1/2 reed
Q: So why do you prefer to play "classical" music?
A: The saxophone sounds beautiful when played in the French classical style and I strive to play with as much beauty, elegance, and precision as possible.
